The bookmobile, Bibliobús initial sketch.
The Bibliobús Project Prize Award is a creative design and decoration project that involved to hand paint every segment from priming to sealing. The elements within the artistic inspiration represent the world reading, emerging books, the Honduran flag, stars, and colorfully diverse formations of shapes sprouting from the act of reading. This artistic- educational project was funded and sponsored by the UNESCO, Plasmon and The Honduran Ministry of Arts, Sports and Culture in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, and the National library Juan Ramón Molina.
The outcome has been successful; many children and adults alike benefit by engaging in learning experiences by the accessibility of reading books, magazines, and other learning resources within this bookmobile. The bus visits far and near communities, and everyone is beyond happy to await its arrival.

Pinwheels at the Pier is the local Children's Advocacy Center's child abuse prevention month activity bringing attention to the plight of children in our community that have suffered abuse. Volunteers plant pinwheels in the sand on the beach at Naples Pier as a physical embodiment and reminder of the great childhoods we want for all children. The pinwheel is the national symbol for child abuse prevention and is a reflection for hope, health and safety.

The Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) with support from the City of Naples, the CVB, and eBella magazine will be attempting a Guinness World Record with the world’s largest display of toy pinwheels. The shimmering blue and silver public art installation will be in the form of a giant flower pot with a hug daisy-like flower made up of 4,000 pinwheels.
